We've finished moving in to our new Idaho home. How long it will be our home changes from day to day. The owners, Jory's parents who now live in Moscow, ID, offered us the chance to stay here for three months while we search for a home of our own. However, that is only part of the arrangement as they are also actively trying to sell the house, with Hart as their realtor. If they do sell the house, then we'll be loading our stuff back up, taking it to a storage unit, and then moving in with Hart and Jory as was the original plan. We were forewarned that people may be coming by to see the house and that we would have to tidy up and prepare to be inconvenienced when a potential buyer came calling, but I didn't expect anyone to come the first day. But when Hart and I were on our way back from the river run he got a call from an interested party and we showed up, all sunburned and disheveled, to show her around. Fortunately, Mitzi had enough time to clean things up a bit before we all arrived and things were most presentable. After the house hunter left, Hart and I took to unloading the Uhaul and actually made short work of it all, and now everything is neatly (and accessibly) stored in the garage. Anyway, here are some pictures of our new living arrangements:
And just for fun, here are a couple of pictures of our old living arrangements. Oh, sweet Provo, how we will miss you:
