A quick trip to Utah

Scott and I took a quick trip to Utah for my friend Jessica Frost's wedding. We left Corbin at home for the first time and it was sad but a good decision. He got sick two days before we left him and then both of us wound up sick. We were actually feeling so ill that we didn't go to Lagoon as we had been planning for weeks, which was sad for me. We did however get to see the Johnstons and watch So You Think You Can Dance together just like the old times. We also got to hang with Scott's family and go out to eat and to a movie, a Cannon tradition. When we got home Corbin was so excited to see us; he was smiling and laughing so much. It was a little like this:

A little background on Jessica and me: I first met Jessica in class at BYU-I (we were the same major, health ed). We would sit next to each other and talk and laugh all through class. We became good friends and we decided to do our student teaching together. We chose to do it in South Salt Lake and we moved to Draper, UT. Our first weekend there she was having a get together with her EFY friends and she invited me to come along, although she gave me fair warning that being EFY counselors, they were a bit weird. Well lo and behold, one of those weird EFY counselors was Scott. We met that night and as you all know that worked out rather well. As a result, Jessica definitely has a soft spot in my heart for sure. I didn't take any pictures at the wedding (Duh) but here are a couple of pictures from back in the day.

This picture was when Jessica invited Scott and I to join her and some other friends to St. George for the weekend. Good times.

Here we are on graduation day. Hallelujah.
